Clamping force blocks are a classic among stationary clamping systems. SCHUNK, the specialist in toolholding, workholding systems and gripping technology located in Lauffen, Germany, now presents a major development with the TANDEM KSP plus, by making this powerhouse a miracle of precision. The multi-tooth guidance of the base jaws, the long jaw guidance and exact centering via the clamping sleeves considerably reduce jaw lifting. This way, the TANDEM KSP plus achieves a repeat accuracy of up to 0.01 mm. These are the best preconditions for precise machining results.
The compact clamping force block with its one-piece, extremely rigid base body achieves gripping forces of up to 60 kN. Due to the integrated piston lubrication, the compact, chip-deflecting shape and wear-resistant parts, the TANDEM KSP plus is remarkably sturdy and largely maintenance-free.
The new TANDEM KSP plus clamping force block from SCHUNK is available in the sizes 100, 160 and 250.
