The development engineers at SCHUNK in Mengen have further optimized the power chuck models ROTA NCD 130 and ROTA NCD 210. They will be replaced by a modified version in the future: the follow-up models will be the ROTA NCD 132 and ROTA NCD 215. The features of the new toolholder, especially the long jaw guidance for I.D. and O.D. clamping, offer users further advantages and capabilities in production. The chuck body was additionally fitted with ribs, with the positive effect of increased rigidity in the chuck body.
The compatibility to the previous ROTA NCD series is assured: the jaw, spindle and draw tube connections remain unchanged.
The chuck heights in the main axis direction had to be adapted, so that the overall height of the chucks is larger:
- ROTA NCD 132 + 7 mm
- ROTA NCD 215 + 10 mm
