The extremely short hydraulic expansion holder TENDO-ES from SCHUNK is now available as standard for the BT 40 interface. With the TENDO-ES, the tool is clamped directly in the mounting taper. This way, the tool shank is supported via the spindle. With an L1 dimension of 26,0 mm, the TENDO-ES is extremely short. The result is the highest holding forces for transferable high torques and a great deal of additional space in the machining area.
TENDOS-ES, the innovative precision toolholder, has a convincing run-out accuracy of less than 0.003 mm and an excellent vibration dampening. Tools can be changed within seconds with an Allen key. TENDO-ES is perfectly suitable for powerful rough machining, for HPC/HSC, for drilling, reaming, tapping, thread milling and thread forming. The user profits from brilliant surfaces, workpieces with the highest degree of dimensional accuracy and long tool life. Complete flexibility is ensured due to the use of intermediate sleeves.
As a member of the TENDO economic family from SCHUNK, TENDO-ES is an especially economic hydraulic expansion toolholder, which allows customers entry into the premiere league of toolholding for the long term. For a comparatively low additional charge compared with conventional toolholders, the user thus has access to high-precision hydraulic expansion toolholding technology.
TENDO-ES will be available for the SK 40 and BT 40 interface. The clamping diameter is 20 mm, with intermediate sleeves ranging from 3 - 20 mm, and a balancing grade of G 2.5 at 25,000 rpm.
For almost 30 years, SCHUNK has been the experienced pioneer in the area of hydraulic expansion toolholders. High-precision SCHUNK hydraulic expansion toolholders meet the highest demands on quality in metal-cutting production. That is what TENDO stands for: the Original, Made in Germany.
