The automatic TRIBOS SVP-4 clamping device from SCHUNK, the competence leader for clamping technology and gripping systems, is much more compact and lighter than its predecessor. Moreover, an innovative pump ensures that the device is especially quiet while working. On option, it can be operated with 220 V AC from the socket, or if required, operated mobil with rechargeable batteries.
An intuitive control concept simplifies the clamping operation: the required clamping pressure for tool change can be continuously adjusted via a controller. Then the mounting is quickly, exactly and automatically actuated at the defined pressure. Maintenance and service intervals can be individually defined and indicated. The design of the TRIBOS SVP-4 is maintenance-friendly. In order to increase the sustainability of the device, software updates can be installed via a Mini-USB interface. The TRIBOS polygonal clamping technology from SCHUNK is the world’s largest program for high-precision tool clamping. From micro- to volume metal cutting, the patented clamping system of the innovative family-owned company scores with a long-lasting true-running accuracy, convincing vibration damping, and the possibility of an exact length pre-adjustment.
