„Strong as an ox“ with turbo effect
NSE 176 is the new clamping module from SCHUNK, the manufacturer of precision workholding systems and products for automation in Lauffen, and belongs to the product range of SCHUNK-UNILOCK Quick Change Pallet Systems. This module clamps by spring force and unlocks pneumatically.
During the mechanical clamping operation the piston cover of the clamping module is additionally actuated by compressed air. This turbo effect increases the pull-down force to 25000 N and makes the machining operation of the clamped workpiece safer.
As an option the Quick Change Pallet System NSE 176 is also available with a groove milled in a plane face used as an anti-twist device, which allows clamping of individual pallets.
