TRIBOS-Mini - The world of microclamping

The miniaturization of products continues unabated – not just in the areas of electrotechnology and medical engineering, but also in the field of mechanical engineering. SCHUNK GmbH & Co. KG is also contributing to this trend with developments of its own. On the basis of tried-and-tested TRIBOS polygonal clamping technology, SCHUNK has designed a toolholder that can clamp tool shanks with diameters starting at just 0.3 mm. Common h6 shank tolerances, such as those found in standard carbide or HSS tools, can be clamped.

Claw jaw - grab the facts
