The pendulum jaw is as easily mounted onto the base jaw of your power chuck as a normal one-piece top jaw (e.g. SWB).
The pivot bolt secures the pendulum body to the support jaw and the entire system to the chuck.
To clamp workpieces of different diameters, the pendulum bodies are simply exchanged. The ability to substitute individual modules means that large clamping ranges can be covered cost-effectively.
