Operating stages for clamping / releasing the TRIBOS holder in SVP-3:

Semi-automatic:

1.		Insertion of the holder with reduction insert in the clamping device

2.		Enter the clamping pressure The clamping pressure can be selected and controlled at the control display.

3.		Confirm or correct

4.		Press START button (control pressure when required)

5.		Tool can be inserted or removed

6.		Release clamping pressure – tool is clamped

Fully automatic:

1.		Insertion of the holder with reduction insert in the clamping device

2.		Read the code on the TRIBOS holder by means of a manual scanner.

3.		Press START button (control pressure when required)

4.		Tool can be inserted or removed

Clamping pressure detection by scan

Definition of the required clamping pressure can be conveniently done by scan. The clamping pressure is automatically read into the system by a data matrix code on the toolholder.

The automatic clamping device ensures process secure clamping.
