For even simpler and process-save application, the pressure-limited clamping device SVP-2 d supplements the TRIBOS polygon clamping technology program.
The limitation of the clamping pressure is preset via an electronic pressure switch. On reaching the nominal pressure, the pressure switch locks the hydraulic manual pump, thus preventing a further increase of pressure. The SVP-2 d is optimal for applications with several holders with the same clamping diameter. The pressure limit can be quickly, simply and continuously adjusted to another level. The preset clamping pressure is shown on an LED display.
The max. clamping pressure is labeled on every TRIBOS toolholder.
Tools can be changed in less than 20 seconds and the holder can be used immediately.

Operating steps for clamping / releasing the TRIBOS toolholder in SVP-2 d:
| 1. |
|
Inserting the toolholder with reduction insert in the clamping device |
| |
| 2. |
|
Close the release valve at the housing |
| |
| 3. |
|
Enter clamping pressure (see marking on the toolholder) via control panel |
| |
| 4. |
|
Build up the clamping pressure by using the hand lever until the pump blocks. |
