The TOOLBOX software can be used for calculating payloads and cycle times of rotary and linear modules of the System GEMOTEC. All applied parameters are thereby considered. This grants you the highest possible planning reliability.
The modified software includes all available new products of the modular assembly technology. |

GEMOTEC KOMBIBOX

| The KOMBIBOX software can be used for the fast and easy determination of which modules, adapter plates or centering elements of the GEMOTEC system can be combined with each other in order to design complete handling systems without mechanical machining. The software can be also used with Excel 2007 and includes now all new products plus an enlargement of the cloumn system of SCHUNK. Therefore the tool offers a comprehensive overview on the combination possibilities of the SCHUNK product line. |

| After definition of the required combination, the software determines the necessary assembly accessories including all standard parts. The position coordinates of the combined modules are also calculated. |

NOTE: In order to open the Excel files, you must have at least 35 MB of free hard disk space available.
Depending on your workstation equipment, the loading time will be up to 60 seconds.
There will then be no waiting times when using the software. Since the files contain macros, your anti-virus
protection for Excel files must be switched off. If in doubt, consult your system administrator.

By means of a transponder reader (reading and writing pen) the tool data can be comfortably and convienently read. The data are marked on a chip, which is mounted on the toolholder. Beside the actuation pressure, the tool length, tool number, the matching workpiece, or a description can be marked.
The pc software is used for programming and reading of the information contained on the chips with the control unit software ‘SCHUNK66.HEX’. |
