Tool: Carbide milling cutter, Hommel VHN-TIN coating, twisting angle: 30°, projecting length 25 mm
Cutting data:
n = 6300 rpm
vf = 39.37 in/min
ap = 0.01 in
ae = ball cutter Ø 8 mm – 2 teeth max. 120° engagement.
Worn drop-forged molds are welded on and finish machined (cavities are machined with a corner tool radius of 4 mm).
Deckel Maho DMU 125 P, n = 18000 rpm
