Cylinder heads fixed to a workpiece carrier are to be horizontally inserted in a clamping device. A stroke of 342 mm is required, as well as a handleable weight of 95 kg.
When fetching the cylinder head from the workpiece carrier, the compensation unit is held still and the workpiece is gripped. The compensation unit is eccentrically locked. The workpiece is turned by a crankshaft by 90° and placed in the clamping device horizontally with the stored position.
