Conception of a gripper unit for taking up cheese wheels and for inserting them in packaging. Minimum set-up times are required. The units should handle 5 tons per hour.
Based on a 4x gripping system with customized, modified tight angular grippers. Swivel units position the cheese wheels exactly. A quick-change system developed by SCHUNK ensures set-up-time-optimized cleaning of the entire unit.
